What to Wear? Birthday party ...I wanted to use my michael kors sandals(light brown)?

ok ...I really want to wear capri shorts w/the kors shoes , there pretty high / like plats, and there light brown (not too light) what colors should i used? to match? what shorts do you recomend? and top , i want the /classy /sexy /casual look
im a young mom in pretty good shape its my sons 1st birthday
and i want to look good....help.

Well, first of all i wouldnt wear the capri shorts. What came to mind immediately with imagining the best outfit with those shoes was a halter style sundress with a brighter palette so as to not be too "matchy-matchy" with the shoes. Too much neutral for a birthday party, and you will find yourself not having as much fun as you could with the shape you're in! And to style it up a bit, try adding a few accessories to the outfit. For a cheaper alternative, try shopping in stores like H&M, Forever 21, or the Gap. If you've got a bigger bank account, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus are great places to find beautiful accessories. Hope you look great at your son's party! It's a mom's job to look extra-fab at a party like that.
