The Magic Snake

In real life, when heard the name of snakes, many people’s faces would wear a frown. Actually speaking, seldom people love them, which are moist, sticky and always twist, or partly because they are some embodiment of risk and unknown danger. Although according to the scientists who spend their whole life in researching the species, only very little of them are toxic and very small part of them really will hurt people. Snake in the fairy is usually considered as holy, magic and full of power. In the ancient Greek, snakes stood for multiply, growth and endless living powder partly because of the endless exuviations. Have you ever remember the old story concerned about Medusa? The beautiful women whose hair are snakes was cruel than expected. However, thanks to the magic power given by snakes, Mrs. Medusa can easily tell the good from the bad, without temptation of appearance.

Maybe I didn’t cover up all the kinds of affection or dislike to snakes. But there is no doubt that snakes are considered as magic and to a large extend as a symbol of unknown super-nature-force. Today the shape of snake is widely used in design industry and showed up on various products, especially on the jewelry. 

In the film <Cleopatra>, you can’t miss the classical topiary work of our heroin. On her arms there was always winding up a diamond snake which made us princess full of sense of powder and authority. The diamond snake raised its head up to the sky and circled its body. It was said that the beautiful snake wasn’t a stage property belonging to the crew.
